1. Who We Are

Elite Golf Consulting ("we", "us", or "our") is a golf performance coaching brand. The Elite Golf Consulting iOS application ("the App") is a premium golf improvement and performance tracking tool for serious golfers. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. What Data We Collect

Data you provide directly

• Round data: Scores, hole-by-hole statistics (fairways hit, greens in regulation, putts, up-and-downs, sand saves, wedge performance), course name, tee selection, and date.
• Journal entries: Optional post-round reflections you write within the App.
• Golf swing videos: If you choose to select a video from your photo library for swing analysis, that video is processed solely for the purpose of that analysis.

Data collected automatically

• We do not collect analytics, usage data, crash logs, or device identifiers.
• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies.

Data we do NOT collect

• Your name, email address, or account credentials — the App requires no account.
• Location data.
• Payment information — all purchases are processed by Apple and governed by Apple's privacy policy.

3. Photo and Video Library Access

The App requests access to your photo library solely to allow you to select and upload videos of your golf swing for performance tracking and AI coaching analysis. We do not browse, scan, or retain any photos or videos beyond the specific file you choose to share.

• You may grant limited access (select specific photos/videos) or full access — either will work for the App's purpose.
• Selected swing videos are transmitted to the AI analysis service (see Section 4) and are not stored on our servers.
• You can revoke this permission at any time in your iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.

4. Third-Party Services

Anthropic Claude API (AI Intelligence Reports)

When you request an AI Intelligence Report, your round statistics (scores, fairways, greens, putts, and journal text you have entered) are transmitted to Anthropic's API to generate a coaching analysis. No personally identifiable information is sent. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

GolfCourse API (Course Search)

When you search for a golf course, your search query is sent to the GolfCourse API to retrieve course and hole data. No personal data is transmitted in this request.

Google Fonts

The App loads typefaces (Playfair Display and DM Sans) from Google Fonts. This is a standard web font service. Google's privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy.

What we do not use

The App does not integrate advertising networks, social media trackers, analytics platforms (e.g. Firebase, Mixpanel), or data brokers of any kind.

5. Data Storage and Security

All round data, statistics, and journal entries are stored locally on your device using your device's local storage. This data does not leave your device except as described in Section 4 (AI analysis and course search queries).

Because your data is stored locally, it may be lost if you delete the App or reset your device. We recommend using iOS device backups to preserve your round history.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is rated 4+ on the App Store and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The App contains no account creation, social features, or data collection that would implicate children's privacy regulations.

7. Your Rights

Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is no personal data held by Elite Golf Consulting to request, correct, or delete. All data you enter into the App is stored on your own device and is entirely within your control. You may delete it at any time by removing the App.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California and have questions about your data rights in relation to our third-party providers (Anthropic, GolfCourse API), please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

1. The App and Its Purpose

Elite Golf Consulting ("the App") is a golf performance tracking and coaching tool designed for personal, non-commercial use by individual golfers. The App allows you to record round scores, track performance statistics, log practice sessions, and receive AI-generated coaching insights.

The AI-generated insights provided by the App are intended as supplementary coaching guidance only. They do not constitute professional sports coaching, medical advice, or a substitute for instruction from a qualified PGA professional.

2. Licence

Subject to these Terms, Elite Golf Consulting grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to download and use the App on any Apple device you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion of it.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Rent, lease, lend, or sublicense the App.
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels from the App.
• Use the App for any commercial purpose or on behalf of a third party.

3. Purchase and Payment

The App is offered as a one-time paid purchase via the Apple App Store. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's payment terms and refund policies.

• Price: The current price is displayed on the App Store listing and may change at our discretion.
• Refunds: All refund requests must be directed to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly.
• No subscription: The current version of the App does not include a subscription. If a subscription model is introduced in a future version, you will be clearly notified before any recurring charge is applied.

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of any data you enter into the App.
• Maintaining your own device backups to protect your round history data.
• Any content you upload or input, including swing videos and journal entries.
• Ensuring your device meets the minimum iOS requirements specified on the App Store listing.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services to deliver its features:

• Anthropic Claude API — AI coaching analysis. Your round data is transmitted to generate reports. Governed by Anthropic's Terms of Service.
• GolfCourse API — Course search and hole data. Search queries are transmitted to retrieve course information.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services. Interruption of these services may affect certain App features but does not entitle you to a refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All content within the App — including but not limited to the name "Elite Golf Consulting", the logo, design, text, and code — is the property of Elite Golf Consulting and is protected by copyright and applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App, including round data and journal entries. By using the App, you do not grant us any rights to that content beyond what is necessary to operate the App's features.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy of any AI-generated coaching content.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Elite Golf Consulting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

9. Changes to the App or Terms

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the App (or any feature of it) at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.

Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [YOUR COUNTRY / STATE], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [YOUR COUNTRY / STATE].
