The short version: Elite Golf Consulting is now a community. To create your account, build your golfer profile, and connect you with other players, we collect your email and the profile and activity information you choose to share. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising inside the App. Anything you post to the community is visible to other members. You can edit your profile, control what you share, and delete your account and personal data at any time.

Elite Golf Consulting ("we", "us", or "our") is a golf performance coaching brand. The Elite Golf Consulting iOS application ("the App") is a premium golf improvement and performance tracking tool for serious golfers, and includes a member community where golfers can build a profile, share progress, and connect with one another. For the purposes of data protection law, Elite Golf Consulting is the "data controller" responsible for the personal information described in this policy. By creating an account and using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
The community features of the App require an account. Account creation and secure sign-in are handled on our behalf by our authentication provider, Clerk (see Section 8). When you register, we create a golfer profile for you. This involves:
You control what appears on your profile and can edit or remove most of it at any time in the App's settings. You are not required to use your real name as your display name.

Where required by law, our legal bases for processing are: performance of our contract with you (to provide the App and community), your consent (for example, optional marketing or push notifications), and our legitimate interests (to keep the service safe, secure, and functional).
Please remember: the community is a shared, social space. Your display name, profile details, and anything you post can be seen by other members of the App — and, depending on the feature, potentially by anyone who can view a shared profile or post. Do not share anything you would not want other golfers to see.
When you use the social features of the App:
You can report any post or question that violates our community rules, and you can block other members — blocking is mutual and hides that member's content from you in both directions. We act on reports and objectionable content promptly (see the Terms of Service for our community conduct rules and moderation commitment).
The App requests access to your photo library so you can select a profile photo and select videos of your golf swing for performance tracking and AI coaching analysis. We do not browse, scan, or retain any photos or videos beyond the specific files you choose to share.

We share the minimum data necessary with a small number of service providers ("processors") who help us operate the App. They are permitted to use your data only to provide services to us, not for their own purposes.
Account creation, sign-in, and identity management are handled by Clerk. Clerk securely stores your authentication credentials and basic account identity (such as your email address and display name) and manages your login sessions on our behalf. Clerk's processing is governed by Clerk's Privacy Policy.
Your golfer profile and the community content you create (posts, comments, questions, answers, follows, and uploaded media) are stored in our application database, hosted on Replit (PostgreSQL). Replit's processing is governed by Replit's Privacy Policy.
When you request an AI Intelligence Report, your round statistics (scores, fairways, greens, putts, and journal text you have entered) are transmitted to Anthropic's API to generate a coaching analysis. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
When you search for a golf course, your search query is sent to the GolfCourse API to retrieve course and hole data. No personal data is transmitted in this request.
Account and security emails (such as verification and sign-in) are sent through Clerk. If we send push notifications, they are delivered through the Apple Push Notification service. Only the data needed to deliver the message (such as your email address or device push token) is shared.
The App loads typefaces (Playfair Display and DM Sans) from Google Fonts. Google's privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy.
The App does not integrate third-party advertising networks, social-media advertising trackers, or data brokers. We do not sell your personal information.
Your golf round data, statistics, and journal entries are primarily stored on your device. Account, profile, and community data — and any content you choose to share with the community — are stored on our backend provider's secured servers so they can sync to your account and be shown to other members.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls provided by our backend and authentication provider. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Data stored only on your device is removed when you delete the App.
Because the App now includes account creation and social/community features, it is intended for users aged 13 and older (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to data processing, if higher). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
Because we now hold personal data associated with your account, you have rights over that data. Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, and California), these may include the right to:
We do not sell or "share" your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 14. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and you may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time from within the App — go to the Community tab → Settings → Account → Delete Account, then confirm in the destructive confirmation dialog. No support request is required.
Deleting your account permanently removes your member profile, posts, comments, questions, answers, follows, blocks, likes, and uploaded media, and removes your authentication identity. The action is irreversible. Personal data is removed from our active systems within a reasonable period, subject only to the limited retention described in Section 9. Content you shared publicly is removed from the community, although copies others saved or screenshotted are outside our control. You may also contact us using the details in Section 14 for help.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, as we add new community features. We will post the updated policy at this URL with a revised effective date, and where changes are material we will take reasonable steps to notify you in the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Elite Golf Consulting ("the App") is a golf performance tracking and coaching tool, together with a member community, designed for personal, non-commercial use by individual golfers. The App allows you to record round scores, track performance statistics, log practice sessions, receive AI-generated coaching insights, create a golfer profile, and share and interact with other members.
The AI-generated insights provided by the App are intended as supplementary coaching guidance only. They do not constitute professional sports coaching, medical advice, or a substitute for instruction from a qualified PGA professional.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to create an account and use the community features. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
Subject to these Terms, Elite Golf Consulting grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to download and use the App on any Apple device you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

The App is offered as a one-time paid purchase via the Apple App Store. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's payment terms and refund policies.
"Your Content" means anything you create, upload, or share in the App — including round data, journal entries, swing videos, profile details, posts, comments, and reactions. You retain ownership of Your Content.
To operate the App and community, you grant Elite Golf Consulting a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute Your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App and its community features — for example, showing your posts and profile to other members. This licence ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for content others have re-shared, and except for reasonable backup copies retained for a limited period.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you share, and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.
Zero tolerance. Elite Golf Consulting has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. By using the community, you agree not to post such content or engage in such behavior. Violations may result in immediate removal of content and termination of your account.
The community only works if members treat each other with respect. When using the community features, you agree that you will not:
By using the community, you also acknowledge that other members' content is their own, and Elite Golf Consulting is not responsible for, and does not endorse, content posted by members.
We want the community to stay safe and useful. Accordingly, we review reported content and may moderate, remove, or restrict content or accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or harm the community or its members.
Termination of your account does not entitle you to a refund of the one-time purchase price.
The App uses the following third-party services to deliver its features:
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services. Interruption of these services may affect certain App features but does not entitle you to a refund.
All content within the App — including but not limited to the name "Elite Golf Consulting", the logo, design, text, and code — is the property of Elite Golf Consulting and is protected by copyright and applicable intellectual property laws. This does not include Your Content, which remains yours as described in Section 5.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy of any AI-generated coaching content, nor are we responsible for content posted by other members of the community.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Elite Golf Consulting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, or damages arising from your interactions with other members, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the App (or any feature of it) at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Florida.
